The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board has scheduled the Passion Search Test for Class 9 students on January 28, 2026. This examination aims to identify and reward talented students across GSEB-recognised secondary schools. The online application window will remain open from November 15 to November 30, 2025, and students must register through the official board portals. GSEB has issued detailed instructions to school principals regarding the registration process, emphasizing the importance of accurate data entry. Students will need to provide their banking information carefully, as any merit award money will be transferred directly to the accounts listed in their application forms. Schools have been directed to guide students properly through the registration process and ensure all details match their official bank records. The board will publish comprehensive guidelines on its website to assist applicants.

Application Process and Important Guidelines

Students can submit their applications exclusively through the official websites gseb.org or prakharata.gseb.org during the designated period. The board has stressed that applicants must enter their personal and banking details with extreme care, ensuring they match exactly with their bank passbook records. This includes the student's name as registered with the bank, complete account number, specific bank branch details, and correct IFSC code. Schools have been instructed to assist students in this process and verify information accuracy. Award money for students who secure positions in the merit list will be directly credited to the bank accounts provided in their application forms, making accurate banking details essential.
