Noida,31 July 2024: The Indian Army is inviting Engineering graduates to apply for the SSC Technical Entry to fill 381 vacancies. Both unmarried men and women aged between 20 to 27 years are eligible to apply for the SSC 64th Men and 35th Women Technical Entry online starting from July 16, 2024. The official notification for the SSC Technical Entry 2024, for the batch commencing in April 2025, is available on the Indian Army’s official website.

Indian Army SSC Tech Entry 2024
The Indian Army has released the official notification for the SSC (Tech)-64th Men and SSCW (Tech)-35th Women Entry Scheme. Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
A candidate must be either:
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal, or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Selection Procedure
The selection process includes:

Training
Selected candidates will undergo 49 weeks of training at the Officers Training Academy, Chennai. Candidates are not allowed to marry during the training period and must not marry until they complete their training. If a candidate marries during training, they will be discharged and required to refund all incurred government expenses. Successful candidates will be awarded a ‘Post Graduate Diploma in Defence Management and Strategic Studies’ by the University of Madras.
