UPPSC to conduct RO ARO Mains Exam 2023 on January 31 and February 1-latest

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has announced the schedule for the Review Officer and Assistant Review Officer Mains Examination-2023. The exam will take place on January 31 and February 1, 2025. A total of 7,509 candidates qualified for the mains exam after the preliminary results were declared on September 16. Among these, 6,093 candidates cleared for 338 Review Officer posts, 1,386 for 79 Assistant Review Officer posts, and 30 for two Assistant Review Officer (Accounts) posts. The preliminary examination was held on July 27, 2024, where approximately 4,54,589 candidates appeared out of 10,76,004 applicants. Deputy Secretary Virendra Mani Tripathi released the official notification on Wednesday, detailing the complete examination timetable and paper structure for the upcoming mains examination.

Examination Schedule and Paper Pattern

The mains examination begins on January 31, 2025, with the General Studies paper from 9.30 am to 11.30 am. The second paper on the same day runs from 2 pm to 5 pm, divided into two sections. The first section, scheduled from 2 pm to 4.30 pm, covers General Hindi and Essay Writing in conventional subjective format. The second section, from 4.30 pm to 5 pm, tests general vocabulary and grammar through objective questions. On February 1, the Hindi Essay paper will be conducted from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm, completing the mains examination schedule.
