Muthoot Finance has opened applications for the 9th edition of the Muthoot M George Higher Education Scholarship for the 2025-26 academic year. This programme supports students pursuing professional courses such as B.Tech, MBBS, and B.Sc Nursing. A total of 210 students will receive financial aid this year. Since the scholarship began, 394 students have benefited with a total funding of Rs. 3.94 crore. Students from Kerala and major cities including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, and Kolkata can apply online by November 30, 2025. Eligibility requires a minimum of 90% marks in Class 12, annual family income below Rs. 2 lakh, and admission through relevant entrance exams in recognised institutions. MBBS students receive Rs. 2.4 lakh, while B.Tech and B.Sc Nursing students get Rs. 1.2 lakh each, covering the entire four-year course duration.
Scholarship Details and Application Process
The scholarship targets students with strong academic records but limited financial resources. From each eligible city, 30 students will be selected—10 from each stream (MBBS, B.Tech, B.Sc Nursing). MBBS scholars will receive Rs. 2.4 lakh while B.Tech and B.Sc Nursing scholars get Rs. 1.2 lakh each for the complete four-year programme. Only students who secured admission in 2025-26 should apply. Interested candidates must submit their applications online at https://mgmscholarship.muthootgroup.com/ before November 30, 2025. Applicants need to have scored 90% or above in Class 12, have family income under Rs. 2 lakh annually, and possess admission through qualifying entrance tests in recognised institutions.
