What is CLAT?

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs). It is held annually for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate law programs. The participating NLUs include top law schools such as NLSIU Bangalore, NALSAR Hyderabad, WBNUJS Kolkata, and NLU Jodhpur. CLAT scores are also accepted by over 60 other law schools, including Delhi University and IIM Rohtak for their law programs.

Eligibility Criteria

UG-CLAT 2025:

PG-CLAT 2025:

  • Must have completed a 3-year LLB or a 5-year LLB from a BCI-recognized university with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).

Age Limit: No age limit for CLAT exam attempts.

Candidates can register for CLAT 2025 online at consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The registration fee is Rs. 4,000 for general and OBC candidates and Rs. 3,500 for SC and ST candidates. The deadline for registration is October 15, 2024. Follow these steps to register:
