The West Bengal Staff Selection Commission has declared the Second State Level Selection Test result for Assistant Teacher recruitment on 7 November. Candidates who took the written examination for Secondary (Classes 9-10) and Higher Secondary (Classes 11-12) levels can now view their scores on the official portal. The test was conducted on 7 and 14 September across 478 centres statewide, with 2,29,606 applicants participating in 35 subjects. This recruitment initiative targets filling 35,726 Assistant Teacher positions in government-aided and sponsored schools throughout West Bengal. Qualified candidates will proceed to subsequent selection phases including document verification, interview rounds, lecture demonstrations and medical examinations. The results for Classes 9-10 are still under preparation and will be released shortly. Document verification is scheduled to begin from 17 November, following the publication of the preliminary interview list.

Steps to Access WBSSC SLST Scorecard Online
Candidates can check their results by visiting the official websites wbssc.gov.in or westbengalssc.com. On the homepage, locate the 'View result' section and click to proceed. Enter the necessary credentials including Roll Number or Application Number along with Date of Birth, then submit the form. The scorecard will display on screen showing candidate name, category, examination date, subject information, marks secured and total marks. Candidates should download and save their scorecards for future reference. Each applicant scored out of 60 marks in the written examination. The Commission has made individual scores accessible through the online portal for all participants who appeared in the test conducted across the state.
