The Directorate of Elementary Education, Assam, released the final results for teacher recruitment on November 7, 2025. The results cover positions for Assistant Teachers in Lower Primary Schools and Assistant Teachers, Science Teachers, and Hindi Teachers in Upper Primary Schools. These posts were advertised under Advertisement-A (No. E-383723/117) and Advertisement-B (No. E-383723/124), both dated December 26, 2023. Candidates can view their selection status and download district-wise, post-wise, and medium-wise cut-off marks from the official website dee.assam.gov.in. The final results replace all provisional merit lists, which now stand cancelled. Only candidates appearing in the final results will receive appointment orders. Selected candidates must attend the Orientation and Ceremonial Distribution of Appointment Letters on November 9, 2025, starting at 2pm. A separate appointment programme for Tea Tribes (OBC) candidates will be announced later.
Final Results Replace Provisional Lists
With the publication of final results, the Directorate of Elementary Education clarified that all provisional merit lists issued earlier are automatically cancelled. No claims for appointment based on provisional lists will be entertained. Only those candidates whose names feature in the final results will be eligible to receive appointment letters. The department emphasized that candidates should verify their selection status through the official portal by entering their registration number and password. The results include detailed cut-off marks categorized by district, post, and medium of instruction. Candidates are urged to regularly check the official DEE Assam website for any further updates or notifications regarding the appointment process and related formalities.
