JEE Main Exam 2026-CBSE asks schools to provide registration number of Class 11

The Central Board of Secondary Education has directed all affiliated schools to provide Class 11 registration numbers to students planning to appear for the JEE Main 2026 examination. The National Testing Agency requires these registration numbers as part of the application process. Despite earlier instructions, many parents and students have raised concerns that schools are not sharing the Class 11 registration details, leading CBSE to issue a fresh reminder to all institutions. The registration process for JEE Main 2026 is currently open, with the deadline set for November 27, 2025. The examination itself is scheduled to take place from January 21 to January 30, 2026, in two daily shifts. The exam city slip is expected to be released by the first week of January. Registration Requirements and Exam Schedule

The National Testing Agency has made it mandatory for students to provide their Class 11 registration numbers while filling the JEE Main application form. CBSE has emphasized that schools must cooperate in providing these details promptly. The last date to complete the registration process is November 27, 2025. The examination will be conducted in two shifts daily: the first shift runs from 9 am to 12 noon, while the second shift is scheduled from 3 pm to 6 pm.
