Eligibility for the SSC Stenographer Notification 2024

Citizenship:

  • Applicants must be Indian citizens or subjects of Nepal/Bhutan.

Exam Pattern of SSC Stenographer 2024

CBT test will consist of 200 objective-type questions: 50 from General Intelligence & Reasoning, 50 from General Awareness, and 100 from English Language & Comprehension. Candidates will have 2 hours to complete the test. Each question will carry one mark, and for each wrong answer, one-third of the marks allotted to that question will be deducted.

Upon clearing the CBT exam, candidates will need to appear for a skill test in stenography at the commission’s regional offices. In this test, candidates will showcase their stenography skills by taking 10 minutes of dictation in either Hindi or English.
