The National Testing Agency has activated a demo registration link for JEE Main 2026 at demo.nta.nic.in, signaling that the formal registration process will begin soon. According to a notice dated September 29, the registration is expected to commence in October 2025, although exact dates remain unannounced. Candidates aspiring to pursue undergraduate engineering programs such as BE, B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Planning can apply through the official websites jeemain.nta.nic.in and nta.nic.in. The examination will be conducted in two sessions: the first in January 2026 and the second in April 2026. NTA has advised students to update their Aadhaar Card, UDID Card for persons with disabilities, and Category Certificate to prevent issues during the admission process. Successful candidates will gain access to admissions in NITs, IIITs, and other centrally funded technical institutions.

Eligibility and Application Process
Candidates must have completed or be appearing in Class 12 to apply for the examination. There is no age limit for appearing in JEE Mains, and no minimum marks are required in Class 12. To register, visit jeemain.nta.nic.in, select the JEE Main 2026 registration link, complete the registration, and log in using the system-generated application number and password.
