RRB NTPC 2025 update: key points for applicants

The Railway Recruitment Board has started accepting applications for 5,810 graduate-level positions under the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) programme. Registration opened on 21 October 2025 through the official website www.rrbapply.gov.in. Indian Railways is conducting this recruitment drive to fill workforce requirements across various zonal and production units. Graduate candidates can apply for roles such as Station Master, Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor, Goods Train Manager, Traffic Assistant, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, and Senior Clerk cum Typist. The application window remains open until 20 November 2025, with fee payment accepted until 22 November 2025. Applicants will get an opportunity to make corrections between 23 November and 2 December 2025. Eligible candidates requiring scribes must submit relevant details from 3 to 7 December 2025. A graduate degree from a recognised university is the minimum educational requirement for these positions.

The online registration process began on 21 October 2025 and will continue until 20 November 2025. Candidates must complete their application fee payment by 22 November 2025. The recruitment board has scheduled a correction window from 23 November to 2 December 2025, allowing applicants to edit their submitted forms. Candidates requiring scribes must provide necessary details between 3 to 7 December 2025. All applications must be submitted through the official portal at www.rrbapply.gov.in. Applicants must possess a graduate degree from any recognised university to qualify for these positions, which include Station Master, Goods Train Manager, Traffic Assistant, and other administrative roles within Indian Railways.
