The Karnataka Examinations Authority is conducting the Karnataka State Assistant Professor Eligibility Test on Sunday, November 2, 2025. Electronic devices, mobile phones, and various other items are banned inside the examination hall. Candidates cannot leave the hall until the final bell rings. Transparent water bottles are permitted, and drinking water will be available at the centre.

Exam Guidelines and Restrictions for Candidates
Candidates can enter the examination centre from 8:30 AM and must present their admit card and identity card before taking their assigned seats. Supervisors will verify photographs on admit cards. Invigilators will distribute OMR sheets for both papers, and candidates must carefully write their names and roll numbers while filling the relevant circles correctly. Male candidates must wear half-sleeved shirts without collars where possible, and trousers with minimal pockets. Female candidates should also wear half-sleeved clothes and flat-soled footwear. Both genders are prohibited from wearing shoes inside the hall. Electronic devices, mobile phones, calculators, watches, wallets, edible items, stationery, caps, and face-covering masks are strictly banned. Only transparent water bottles, admit cards, photo identity cards, and ball point pens are allowed.
