Saralnama2 key organizations signed an MoU on in Bhubaneswar. ISRO's National Remote Sensing Centre and IIT Bhubaneswar will work together on coastal research. They will study ocean processes and shoreline changes in the western Bay of Bengal. The project will map nearshore areas from Sundarbans to northern Andhra Pradesh. Dr. S. K. Srivastav from ISRO and Prof. P. Dinakar from IIT Bhubaneswar signed the agreement. This partnership may expand to cover other Indian coastal regions in the future.
