It has four papers for teaching Classes 1-5 and 6-8 in general and special schools. Minimum passing marks are 60% for OC/EWS, 50% for BC, and 40% for SC/ST/PwBD and ex-servicemen. D.El.Ed, B.Ed, or equivalent degree holders can apply. The fee is ₹1,000 per paper. Apply at cse.ap.gov.in. Hall tickets will be available. Results will be out. APTET is mandatory for teaching in Andhra Pradesh schools. The certificate is valid for life and carries 20% weightage in future Teacher Recruitment Tests.
