Kerala Joins PM SHRI Schools Scheme After Long UncertaintySaralnama

Kerala signed an MoU with the Centre on to join the PM SHRI Schools scheme. The state will get ₹1,500 crore for education programs. Two schools from each block will receive ₹1 crore annually for five years. The decision faced opposition from coalition partner CPI. Earlier, Kerala had concerns about NEP implementation and displaying PM SHRI School boards. Education Minister Sivankutty confirmed the agreement.
