30 underprivileged students will receive free NEET coaching from MBBS students at RIMS, Ranchi. The decision was made on at a governing body meeting chaired by Health Minister Irfan Ansari. Top first and second-year MBBS students will coach selected candidates. Trainers will get ₹2,500 per hour incentive. Classes will run 4 days a week. The scheme's estimated annual cost is ₹7 crore. RIMS also decided to provide ₹5,000 aid and free hearse service under 'Moksh Vahan' scheme for deceased patients. RIMS trainee doctors will now get ₹30,000 monthly stipend like AIIMS.
