21 core network functions will be tested for 5G security at IIT Madras. The Telecom Security Testing Lab (TSTL) of IIT Madras' Pravartak Technologies Foundation is now India's first lab officially recognized by the Department of Telecommunications to check 5G networks and equipment. TSTL can test the security of 5G core network functions, Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF), and 5G Group-I equipment.
