Teachers from Delhi Municipal Corporation (MCD) schools will visit homes every Saturday to boost student enrollment. The Education Committee aims to increase admissions by at least 100,000 students. Currently, 650,000 students study in MCD schools. Two teachers from each school will meet parents in various neighborhoods to promote MCD school features like free mid-day meals, uniforms, and stationery. MCD believes this will build trust and increase admissions. Teachers who successfully enroll more students will receive 'Nigam Awards'.
