Ayush Minister Prataprao Jadhav announced plans to include Ayurveda in school and college curricula. NCERT and UGC are creating course modules for this purpose. Some states like Goa and Madhya Pradesh have already integrated Indian knowledge systems in schools. The Ayush Ministry is conducting evidence-based research to establish Ayurveda globally. They aim to develop an integrated healthcare model combining Allopathy and AYUSH systems. Under the National AYUSH Mission, AYUSH doctors are being deployed in Health and Wellness Centres, especially in rural areas.
