Patna University Foundation Day on October 8, 35 Toppers to Get Gold Medals

Patna, September 26 – Patna University will celebrate its 109th Foundation Day on October 8, 2025. On this occasion, 35 undergraduate toppers will be honoured with gold medals.

According to officials, the list includes 21 female and 14 male students, with 16 awardees from Magadh Mahila College, highlighting the college’s strong academic performance.

The Foundation Day is traditionally observed on October 1, but this year the date has been shifted to October 8 due to Durga Puja holidays.

During the ceremony, toppers from different undergraduate programmes will receive medals as recognition of their academic excellence and outstanding performance.

Patna University, established in 1917, is one of Bihar’s oldest educational institutions. Every year, the university marks its foundation day with cultural events and academic celebrations.

Officials said the upcoming programme will showcase the university’s commitment to rewarding merit and its focus on nurturing young talent through recognition and encouragement.
