Noida: The Uttar Pradesh health department has banned nearly 400 doctors in Noida from practising medicine due to invalid or out-of-state registrations.
Officials said many doctors were using licences from states like Delhi and Haryana but were treating patients in Uttar Pradesh without mandatory state registration. Surprise inspections were conducted across clinics and hospitals before issuing notices.
The crackdown is aimed at ensuring compliance with medical laws and improving healthcare quality. Patients have been advised to check their doctor’s registration status before treatment.
