The Maharashtra government plans to send 51 students annually to NASA in the US. Students will be selected through science project competitions at tehsil, district, and state levels. Top 21 projects from tehsil level will visit a science centre in their division. Top 51 from district level will tour ISRO in Bengaluru. State-level finalists will go to NASA. The scheme, 'Chief Minister Vidyarthi Vigyan Vari', aims to motivate students in science. It needs ₹3 crore for the NASA trip. CM Devendra Fadnavis approved the plan in.
