The CAT exam, the main entry test for IIMs, will be held on November 24, 2025, with registration opening in August.
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). The application fee ranges between ₹2,000 and ₹4,000. Private institutions like ISB and SP Jain have also begun admissions. ISB’s one-year program will cost ₹41.98 lakh for the 2025–26 batch.
Placement reports highlight that top IIM graduates are securing average packages of ₹28–35 lakh, especially in consulting and technology roles.
