Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) spoke on social media after 84 days of silence following a stampede during their IPL title celebrations in Bengaluru. The tragic event on 4 June 2025 caused 11 deaths and 56 injuries outside M Chinnaswamy Stadium. The Karnataka government filed an FIR against RCB, the event organiser, and Karnataka State Cricket Association for holding the event without police permission. RCB said their silence was due to grief and announced the launch of 'RCB Cares' to support victims and fans. The state government formed a judicial commission and suspended five police officers.
