Daniil Medvedev, world No. 13 and 2021 US Open champion, was fined $42,500 at the 2025 US Open. The fine came after his angry reaction during a first-round match against Benjamin Bonzi. A photographer walked onto the court, causing a delay and a replay of Bonzi's serve. Medvedev shouted at the umpire and the crowd, showing frustration.
