Novak Djokovic won his second-round match at the US Open 2025 on 27 Aug in New York. With this win, he reached the third round at a major for the 75th time, breaking Roger Federer’s record of 74. Djokovic aims to win his 25th Grand Slam title, the first since the 2023 US Open. He beat American qualifier Zachary Svajda in four sets after losing the first set. Djokovic said he felt tired and had to work hard to recover during matches. He will next play either Cameron Norrie or Francisco Comesana. Djokovic holds many tennis records, including 24 Grand Slam titles and 428 weeks as world No. 1. He said staying at the top and winning major titles are the biggest challenges in tennis.
