In 1980, Pakistani cricket star Zaheer Abbas met Rita Luthra in England. Rita was studying interior design. Zaheer was already married with three daughters. He fell in love with Rita and divorced his first wife to marry her in 1988. Rita converted to Islam and took the name Samina. The couple settled in Karachi and have a daughter named Sonal. Samina runs a successful interior design business worth crores. Zaheer Abbas is known as the 'Don Bradman of Asia' and was Pakistan's cricket captain.
