Afghanistan has appointed former Ireland all-rounder John Mooney as their new fielding coach. Mooney, 43, played 91 international matches for Ireland and has coaching experience with Afghanistan, West Indies, and Ireland women's teams. He joins the team during their training camp in Abu Dhabi. Along with Mooney, Australia’s Nirmalan Thanabalasingam has been named the new physiotherapist.
