The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced a 15-member squad for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025, scheduled from September 30 to November 2. Fatima Sana will captain the team, with Muneeba Ali Siddiqui as vice-captain. Pakistan qualified by finishing unbeaten in the ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifier in April. The squad includes uncapped players such as Eyman Fatima, Natalia Parvaiz, Rameen Shamim, Sadaf Shamas, Sadia Iqbal, Shawaal Zulfiqar, and Syeda Aroob Shah. Gull Feroza and Najiha Alvi have been moved to the reserve list along with Tuba Hassan, Umm-e-Hani, and Waheeda Akhtar. The team will hold a 14-day training camp starting August 29 under head coach Muhammad Wasim and will play a three-match ODI series against South Africa in Lahore from September 16 to 22. Pakistan’s World Cup group matches will be held at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo, beginning with Bangladesh on October 2 and including matches against India, Australia, England, New Zealand, South Africa, and Sri Lanka.
