HSBC India has announced the 12th edition of its India Business Case Programme for the 2025-26 academic year, inviting undergraduate students in their penultimate or final year from all streams to apply in teams of four. The programme aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements by enhancing practical skills, soft skills, and workplace experience through real business case studies, e-learning, workshops, and mentorship from industry experts. This initiative responds to findings from the Economic Survey 2024-25, which reported that only 42.6% of Indian graduates are employable and just 8.25% work in roles matching their qualifications. The programme focuses on developing critical thinking, communication, creativity, and leadership skills alongside technical knowledge. The top two teams will have the opportunity to participate in the HSBC-University of Hong Kong Asia-Pacific Business Case Programme. Registration details are available online, and the programme is run in partnership with United Way Mumbai and Sattva Consulting. (Updated 21 Aug 2025, 18:14 IST; source: link)
