Pakistan has removed batter Hasan Nawaz from their international squad for the upcoming series against Sri Lanka and the T20I tri-series involving Zimbabwe. The Pakistan Cricket Board clarified that Nawaz's removal is not due to injury or fitness issues. Instead, selectors want him to gain experience by playing in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, Pakistan's premier First-Class competition, during its seventh round. Fakhar Zaman has been added to the 15-member T20I squad to replace Nawaz, but no replacement was made for the ODI series. Pakistan will host Sri Lanka for three ODIs starting November 11 at Rawalpindi, followed by a tri-series from November 17 to 29 featuring Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Zimbabwe. The matches will take place at Pindi Cricket Stadium and Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

PCB's Decision and Upcoming Series Schedule
The Pakistan Cricket Board officially stated that Nawaz was released to participate in domestic First-Class cricket rather than due to any fitness concerns. The ODI series against Sri Lanka begins on November 11, with matches on November 13 and November 15, all at Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi. Following this, the T20I tri-series will run from November 17 to November 29, featuring Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Zimbabwe. Matches will be held at both Pindi Cricket Stadium and Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The final is scheduled for November 29 at Lahore. Shaheen Shah Afridi will captain the ODI side, while Salman Ali Agha leads the T20I squad.
