The Board of Control for Cricket in India has named a 15-member squad for the Rising Stars Asia Cup, set to take place in Qatar. The tournament will run from November 14 to 23, 2025, at the West End International Cricket Stadium in Doha. Wicketkeeper-batter Jitesh Sharma will lead the side, with Naman Dhir serving as vice-captain. The squad features young opening batsmen Priyansh Arya and Vaibhav Suryavanshi, while the middle order includes Nehal Wadhera, Suryansh Shedge, Ramandeep Singh, Ashutosh Sharma, and Abhisek Porel. The bowling attack comprises spinners Harsh Dubey and Suyash Sharma, alongside pacers Yash Thakur, Gurjapneet Singh, Vijay Kumar Vyshak, and Yudhvir Singh Charak. Five standby players have also been announced. India A has been placed in Group B with Oman, UAE, and Pakistan A. Their opening match is scheduled against UAE on November 14, followed by fixtures against Pakistan A and Oman. The final will be held on November 23.

Squad Composition and Tournament Schedule

The India A squad features promising young talent across all departments. The opening pair of Priyansh Arya and Vaibhav Suryavanshi will be crucial, supported by a strong middle order. The bowling unit combines spin and pace effectively with Harsh Dubey and Suyash Sharma handling spin duties, while Yash Thakur, Gurjapneet Singh, Vijay Kumar Vyshak, and Yudhvir Singh Charak form the pace battery. Five standby players—Gurnoor Singh Brar, Kumar Kushagra, Tanush Kotian, Sameer Rizvi, and Shaik Rasheed—provide additional depth. India A begins their Group B campaign on November 14 against UAE, then faces Pakistan A on November 16 and Oman on November 18. The semifinals are scheduled for November 21, with the championship match on November 23.
