While addressing the birth centenary celebration in Ambikapur, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that Baba Kartik Oraon was the pride of the tribal community. His statue will be installed here. We pay tribute to him on behalf of the entire Chhattisgarh. He acquired his education abroad. He studied literature and later engineering. Kartik Oraon dedicated his life to society. The Chief Minister said that Baba Kartik Oraon never abandoned his religion, culture and civilization. He always promoted education. If he had wanted, he could have taken up jobs in high positions.
