IITs NITs Admission 2021 JoSAA Has Issued Seat Allocation Rules Check Here

JoSAA Seat Allocation Rules: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has issued guidelines for admission to 114 institutes for the academic year 2021-22. These institutes include 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs and 29 other government-funded technical institutes (other-GFTIs). Candidates should note that admission to IITs will be through JEE Advanced 2021. Whereas admission to other institutes, called NIT+, will be conducted through JEE Main 2021.

JoSAA for Admission 2021 Online Portal Registration is mandatory on

The official statement released by JoSAA states that, “It is mandatory for the candidates to register through the official JoSAA 2021 online portal, so that they can apply for any of the IITs, NITs, IIESTs, IIITs. (IITs (Triple-I-T) and other-GFTIs to be able to get allotted seats through JoSAA 2021. Academic program, with category wise in-tech capacity, online portal https will be announced on ://josaa.nic.in.”

IITs In and in programs 20% will be women

For IITs, a fully undergraduate program in an institute will have at least 20% women for the academic year 2021-22. For NITs, IIEST Shibpur and some IIITs, at least 20% of the individual undergraduate programs for the academic year 2021-22 will be female.

IIT Of common rank These are the conditions for the candidates to appear in the list

To be included in the common rank list of IITs, a candidate has to secure a minimum of 35% aggregate and a minimum of 10% marks in each of the subjects. For General-EWS Rank List and OBC-NCL Rank List, the minimum subject wise percentage required and the minimum percentage in aggregate marks required are 9% and 31.5% respectively. For all other categories, the minimum percentage of marks in each subject is 5% and the minimum percentage of aggregate marks is 17.5%.
