Preparation started after studying BDS
Apala Mishra’s father is an officer in the Army and his mother is a professor. From the very beginning, Apala was very smart in studies and after intermediate, she earned a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree. After completing his studies in the year 2018, he started preparing for UPSC. He achieved All India Rank 9 in the third attempt.
Apala prepared the strategy like this
According to Apala Mishra, he studied for about 7 to 8 hours every day. According to the syllabus, first collected the books and after that started preparing for better strategy. She got failure in the first 2 attempts but she did not lose courage and continued to move towards her goal.

Apala’s advice to other candidates
Apala believes that if you want to prepare for UPSC, then you have to move ahead with a better strategy. She says that unless you try for it every day, you will not reach your destination. According to him, hard work, right strategy, maximum revision, practice of answer writing and positive attitude open the way to success.
