5 Things To Keep In Mind While Applying For Graduate Aptitude Test In Engineering 2022

GATE 2022 : Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur has started the registration process for GATE 2022 from 2nd September. Candidates willing to apply for GATE exam must submit the duly filled GATE 2022 application form before 24 September.
To fill GATE Application Form 2022, candidates have to register themselves with GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS). The GATE 2022 application form consists of several steps such as registration, filling a detailed form, uploading relevant documents and paying the application fee. Candidates are advised to keep all the required documents for GATE 2022 registration handy to avoid any last minute rush.

GATE Keep these 5 things in mind for 2022 registration

1-An applicant can fill only one application form – GATE 2022 candidates must note that a candidate appearing in one or two papers will have to fill only one application form. In case of multiple applications, only one will be accepted and the remaining applications will be rejected and the fee paid will also be non-refundable.

2-right GATE Select the 2022 paper combination – The officials have allowed candidates to apply for one or two papers, however, students are required to select the gate to paper combination from the list released on the official GATE website at gate.iitkgp.ac.in.

3-Two new subjects have been introduced – This year IITK has introduced two new GATE papers – Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering and Geomatics Engineering. Candidates seeking admission in these fields can now select these papers while filling the GATE 2022 application form.

4-Students applying for two papers will have to pay separate fee Candidates who wish to apply for two papers will have to pay the GATE 2022 application fee for both the papers separately.

5-Check the eligibility criteria before applying Students are advised to check the GATE 2022 eligibility criteria before applying for the entrance exam. Candidates who fail to fulfill the eligibility criteria set by the authorities will not be offered admission.

GATE 2022 will be conducted by IITK on February 5, 6, 12 and 13. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national examination conducted by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) jointly for admission to postgraduate courses in participating institutions.
