Schools from 9th to 12th class have been opened in Rajasthan from 1st September i.e. today. On Tuesday, the State Education Department had also issued the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) regarding the opening of the school, which is mandatory to be followed strictly. Along with this, School Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasra also said that the department has also decided to reduce the school syllabus by 30 percent and now students will also be evaluated every month.
Syllabus reduced by 30 percent
He also said that, “Due to Kovid-19, classes in schools could not resume in the last three months, causing loss in studies. Also, the decision to reduce the syllabus by 30 percent in all schools in the state.” has been taken.”
There will be tests every month for the evaluation of students
He also said that, “The department has prepared for a possible third wave of Kovid-19, and we have now decided to take tests every month to evaluate the students. The results of these tests will be used in future when Will also be needed, will be done to evaluate the students.”
SOP necessary to follow
The minister also expressed hope that the Center will soon issue a coronavirus guideline so that schools can be opened for young children. He said the state government is in touch with the Indian Council of Medical Research and the chief minister frequently discusses the situation with experts and doctors. Dotasara said that any further decision would be taken in view of the situation. He said that it is mandatory to follow the SOP issued by the department and teachers should take both the doses of the vaccine.
