Graduation from IIT
Rushikesh is originally from Cuddapah in Andhra Pradesh. After Intermediate, he cleared the entrance exam of IIT and did his graduation from Delhi IIT. After this he got many job offers but he turned them down for the sake of UPSC. Soon after his graduation in the year 2015, he started preparing for UPSC. He believes that if you want to be successful in UPSC, then do not be afraid of failures and keep trying to achieve your goal by keeping long attention.

When Rushikesh Reddy gave the UPSC exam for the first time, he reached the interview round but his name did not figure in the final list. After this, in the second attempt, he reached the mains. In the third attempt, he cleared the UPSC exam with an All India rank of 374. But under this he got the Indian Railway Traffic Service. His dream was to become an IAS. So he made another attempt. This time he could not even pass the pre-exam. Finally, in the fifth attempt, he achieved the All India Rank of 95.

Rushikesh’s advice to other candidates
Rushikesh believes that if you want to prepare for UPSC, first of all prepare yourself mentally to prepare for a long time. There is no guarantee of success here.
