This exam is conducted for the recruitment of teachers for the posts of class 1 to 8. There are two papers in the exam. The first paper is conducted for the recruitment to the posts of teachers from class 1 to 5 and the second paper from class 6 to 8. It is mandatory for the candidates who want to teach class 1 to class 8 students to appear for both the papers.
It is noteworthy that to appear in Paper 1, candidates must have passed 12th with 50% marks. Along with this, two years diploma should also be there. Whereas, to appear in Paper 2, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any subject as well as a 2-year diploma in elementary education.
