MP School Reopening: Schools From Class 6 To 8 In Madhya Pradesh Can Open In September

MP School Reopening Update: In view of the decrease in the cases of corona infection, the process of reopening schools and colleges has started in many states of the country. So far many states have opened schools and colleges with the Kovid-19 protocol, while many others are planning to reopen educational institutions in the coming days.

In this episode, the Madhya Pradesh government is also considering reopening schools for students of classes 6 to 8 from next month i.e. from September. A state minister gave this information on Thursday.

The government had earlier reopened schools from class 9 to class 12 across the state with 50 per cent capacity in the last week of July. However, classes from 9th to 12th in physical mode are being conducted on specific days of the week.

Speaking to PTI, Madhya Pradesh Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar said, “We have made up our mind to reopen middle schools (class 6 to 8) next month, which are closed due to coronavirus, but we are trying to contain the pandemic. His statement comes at a time when private schools are demanding reopening of schools for all classes in the state.

At least 45,000 private schools affiliated to the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education have announced to stage a sit-in across the state from September 2 to demand the reopening of schools for all classes in compliance with the COVID-19 norms. .

Consideration will be given to opening primary school after middle schools
Parmar said he would seek Chief Minister Shivraj Singh’s approval on the plan to reopen schools (for classes 6 to 8) by the end of this month. He said that first we are considering a plan to reopen middle schools with limited students on specific days of the week. After that we will think about resuming classes with safety measures for primary schools (classes 1 to 5). “
