Himachal Schools Update: The second wave of Corona has undoubtedly weakened but the fear of the third wave remains. The third wave is said to be especially fatal for children. In such a situation, the Himachal Pradesh government has decided to keep the schools closed till September 4, amid fears of the third wave of Corona. This decision has been taken in the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur in Shimla on Tuesday. Earlier orders were given to keep the schools closed till August 28.
Study will continue in online mode
The online learning-teaching process will continue during the closure of the school. Whereas teachers and non-teaching staff will come to regular schools. During this time, studies in colleges will continue in online mode only. On the other hand, the first term examinations of 9th to 12th students will be conducted online on September 4. The situation of Corona will be reviewed again in the proposed cabinet meeting on September 1 or 2. After that a decision will be taken regarding the reopening of schools.
4 thousand posts will be recruited in the education department
Along with this, Jai Ram Thakur government has also approved the decision of 4 thousand recruitments in Himachal Education Department. According to the information, 1326 posts will be recruited in higher education and 2640 posts at the elementary level.
Recruitment of teachers will be on contract basis
In these posts, 820 posts of drawing teachers, 870 posts of physical education teacher, 810 posts of JBT, 561 posts of college spokesperson, 214 of school spokesperson New, 250 of JOA library, 16 posts of college teachers and transferees including 16 posts in education department. Recruitment has been approved for the posts of Yoga teachers. Apart from direct recruitment on these posts by the commission, recruitment will also be done on batch wise basis. Overall, the government has given green signal for recruitment to 4 thousand posts. It is noteworthy that all the posts of teachers will be recruited on contract basis.
