National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2021 will be conducted this year on 12 September 2021. National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the NEET 2021 admit card on September 9. Students appearing for NEET 2021 exam will be able to check and download their admit card by visiting the official website neet.nta.nic.in. NTA has also released the list of exam cities.
Along with this, the candidates appearing in the exam should be aware of the exam pattern. This year, there has been a slight change in the question paper pattern giving more flexibility to the students and allowing internal choices. Ahead of the exam, National Testing Agency (NTA) has released some important tips for the candidates that the candidates need to keep in mind while appearing for the competitive exam.
new pattern- The exam will be conducted for a duration of three hours in which the candidate will have to attempt 200 multiple choice questions. The paper will have 50-50 questions from Botany, Zoology, Chemistry and Physics. The question paper is divided into two sections i.e. Section A and Section B. Section A will have 35 questions from each subject while Section B will have 15 questions from each subject. However, in Section B, candidates will have the option to attempt 10 out of 15 questions in each subject.
Mark OMR SheetColor the answer option properly in the OMR sheet. Candidates should note that the evaluation of answer sheet is done by computer and if any option is not colored correctly then the computer will not be able to read it.
match the codeMake sure that the code printed on the OMR sheet matches the code given on the question paper. If the code does not match, inform the invigilator immediately.
What to fill in the sheet- Do not select more than one option in the OMR sheet. Make sure that you have entered your 10 digit roll number correctly in the OMR sheet. You have to write and color the marks at the bottom of each column in the answer sheet.
Right Pen and Marking Technique- Before marking the answer in the OMR sheet, make sure that you will not be able to correct it after coloring the option.
