National Teacher’s Award 2021: President Ram Nath Kovind to honor 44 teachers on Teacher’s Day

National Teachers Award 2021 Ceremony will be held on 5 September 2021 on the occasion of Teacher’s Day. In this ceremony, 44 teachers will be honored by President Ram Nath Kovind for their outstanding contribution. The Ministry of Education has released the list of teachers selected for the National Teachers Award 2021 along with the name of their school. This list has also been released on the official website nationalawardstoteachers.education.gov.in.

44 awardees include nine female teachers

The selected teachers are two teachers each from Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Sikkim, Odisha, Bihar, Gujarat and Rajasthan. While in CBSE schools, two teachers from Bal Bharti Public School Dwarka in Delhi and Birla Balika Vidyapeeth, Jhunjhunu in Rajasthan have made it to the national honors list. A teacher from Eklavya Model Residential School, Karpavand, Bastar, Chhattisgarh is also among the recipients of the award. Significantly, nine women teachers are also included in these 44 awardees.
