West Bengal HS Results 2021: The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) board declared the 12th result on Thursday. This time result 97.70 percent students have got success. Council President Mahua Das told that in the 12th result, a Muslim girl from Murshidabad has become the state topper by securing 499 marks out of 500. He said that this is the first time that a Muslim student has secured the highest number of marks. This time the 12th examinations were canceled due to the corona epidemic. The board has declared the result by making its own criteria.
This time the result of Bengal Board was like this
According to the board, this time 8,19,202 students had enrolled for the class 12 examination in the state. Out of this, 97.70 percent students passed. The special thing is that this time the pass percentage of boys and girls has been same. This year 60 percent i.e. 3,19,327 students have got first division, which is less than last year. The board president said that 9,019 students have scored between 90-100 per cent marks, which is lower than last year’s 30,220 students. The number of students with A+ grade is 49,370. Mahua Das said that 86 students are in the top 10.
Most of the commerce students were successful
This time commerce students won the West Bengal Board results. 99.8 percent of commerce students passed. Apart from this, the overall pass percentage in Science stream was 99.28 and Arts pass percentage was 97.39 percent. The chairman of the council announced only the topper and said that no merit list will be issued this year as the exam was canceled and the results have been declared on the basis of optional evaluation.
