New Delhi: The fourth session of the engineering entrance exam JEE-Main 2021 has been postponed and now this exam will be held between August 26 and September 2. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan gave this information on Thursday.
The Education Minister said that this decision has been taken to give four weeks time to the students between this important examination. Earlier, the fourth session of JEE-Main exam was proposed to be conducted from July 27 to August 2.
Pradhan tweeted, “In view of the huge demand from the student community and to help the candidates perform optimally, the National Investigation Agency has advised a gap of four weeks between the two sessions of JEE (Mains) Exam 2021. Under this, the fourth session of JEE (Main)-2021 examination will now be held on 26, 27, 31 August and 1 and 2 September. So far 7.32 lakh candidates have registered themselves for the fourth session of JEE (Mains)-2021 examination.
The minister said that the registration for JEE-Main fourth session is on and the date of registration will be extended till July 20.
