The Chandigarh Administration has also decided to open the school from 19th July (Monday). However, physically the schools will be opened only for classes 9 to 12 and the permission of the parents will be required for this.
In this regard, the administration has said that, “Schools for classes 9th to 12th will start physically functioning from July 19, 2021 only after the consent of the parents to send their children to the schools. However, online learning-teaching will continue.
Schools will open on this condition from July 19
The UT administration also decided to open coaching institutes. However, a single dose of vaccine will be mandatory for both eligible students and staff. In this regard, the administration has said that “coaching institutes will be allowed to function physically from July 19 with the condition that all eligible students and staff are given at least one dose of vaccine and the institutes follow the Kovid protocol.” to be strictly followed.” On this condition the coaching institutes will be able to open only for students above the age of 18 years, who are preparing for other competitive exams as people over 18 are being vaccinated.
Colleges can be opened in August
The UT administration has not fixed any date for opening the colleges. It is being said that the college will be considered for opening only after students and teachers get at least one dose of the vaccine. It is expected that colleges can be opened from August.
