Lakshmi Menon, a Tamil and Malayalam actress, is accused of kidnapping and assaulting an IT professional in Kochi on 24 Aug 2025. The incident began after a fight between two groups at a bar. The IT professional said Lakshmi and her friends stopped his car near Ernakulam North Bridge, dragged him out, beat him, and left him on the road. Police arrested three of her friends but Lakshmi is on the run. She has not been found as her phone is switched off. Lakshmi started acting in 2011 and took a break from films after 2016.
