Malayalam actor and TV presenter Rajesh Keshav collapsed on stage during a live event at Crowne Plaza Hotel, Kochi, on Sunday night, 24 Aug 2025. He was rushed to Lakeshore Hospital where doctors confirmed he suffered a cardiac arrest. Rajesh, aged 49, underwent emergency angioplasty and is now on a ventilator in the intensive care unit. Filmmaker Prathap Jayalakshmi, who was at the event, shared that Rajesh has not yet responded but shows slight movements. Doctors suspect mild brain damage due to the cardiac arrest. Fans and the film industry have sent messages of support and prayers for his recovery. Rajesh Keshav is well known in Kerala as a television anchor and actor in Malayalam cinema.
