The Bollywood film Param Sundari will release on 29 August 2025. It stars Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra in a romantic comedy directed by Tushar Jalota. The story shows a girl from South India falling in love with a boy from North India. Janhvi Kapoor said her character is from Kerala and is half-Malayali and half-Tamilian. She explained that her role is different from Deepika Padukone's in Chennai Express, a 2013 film with a similar theme. Sidharth Malhotra said he takes the comparison as a compliment but said the two films are very different. The movie is produced by Dinesh Vijan and was filmed in Kerala.
