Director Anil Sharma, who shared a close bond with the Deol family, revealed that Dharmendra appeared to be recovering when he visited him at home after his hospital discharge. The veteran star was responsive, opening his eyes and moving his hands. Medical professionals treating him were optimistic, describing Dharmendra as a very strong man. The doctors had assured the family that he would recover fully, and everyone remained hopeful. They had even planned to celebrate his upcoming 90th birthday on 8 December.
